About Speed Twin Films

director, producer, writer, actor, trashman Paul Lombardo created SPEED TWIN FILMS LLC in September, 1997, for the purpose of having a legitimate and legal structure for the filming of his first screenplay, "Love... At Your Disposal" -- a feature-length romantic comedy. The 16mm film is currently in post production, with a finished print tentatively available in late September / early October 1998. Paul is seeking distribution in all available markets for the film.

Having worked for more than 15 years (and still counting!) in his family's trash collection/recycling business, he is also a long-aspiring actor, musician, and live improv comedy performer. Paul was frustrated, unfulfilled, and like so many others, fed up with years of hard work and coming away empty-handed from many auditions; once again, missing that elusive "big break."

Going to a series of "less than professional" auditions led him to the conclusion that it was time to take a major chance (and risk!) and try to make his own luck. Having worked with so many talented and under-utilized Connecticut actors and crew, he knew that he had a creative and solid foundation for the film.

So...then it was time to:

  1. Write the screenplay
  2. Assemble the key crew leaders
  3. Hold auditions
  4. Rehearse...rehearse!
  5. Mortgage the house (not kidding!)
  6. Lights, Camera, Action! Shoot, Shoot, Shoot...
  7. Edit, Edit, Edit... and edit the film!
  8. Cross his fingers and hope people will see his finished product!
Hopefully, "Love... At Your Disposal" will enable Paul and Speed Twin Films to go on to make other films.
